wood types on the Dr.1 and others

Hello everybody,

I am interested to know what type of wood was used on the Fokker Dr.1, in particular, the trianular fairings on the fuselage and the wingtip skids. Does anyone know? Also, did different countries use different types of wood for the same purpose or was there a general concensus that certain aircraft parts should always be made from a specific type of wood?
