Copper State Grigorovich M5

This is the CSM 1/48 Grigorovich M5....I worked on it as I worked on the tripe.

Mostly out of the box, if that's possible with an airplane like this. I added a few bits, such as the engine wiring, some cockpit detail, etc. The struts are all brass Strutz material and the center structure is a combination of brass stock, Strutz, and the kit's p.e. all soldered together.

The paint is mostly Model Master and Poly Scale acrylics, weathered with oils.

The rigging was a pain...there always seemed like there was another bit to add.

CSM made a beautiful kit. It was a lot of fun to build.
