FOKKER F.I vs. Dr.I TRIPLANE TAIL DIFFERENCES SHOWN!

Fokker Triplane Fans,

In another post I've shown the design differences between the Fokker F.I vs. Dr.I Triplane horizontal tails. I thought I would start a new topic here as well.

Note the differing designs showing the 25mm outwardly curved leading edge of the F.I vs. the straight leading edge of the production Dr.I. Also, the F.I design is of shorter tail span than the Dr.I.

The unique F.I tail is seen only on Fokker Triplanes 101/17 (?), 102/17, and 103/17.

Perhaps I will show the F.I vs. Dr.I rudder differences next, if there is similar interest...

Regards, Gary Sewall
