small but interesting museum

Hello,

I want introduce you a small but interesting museum located in Borgo Valsugana, in the Trento province. In this museum many objects of the grat war are conserved: elmets and uniforms, weapons, infantry armors, any kind of equipment, a recostruction of bunker and trench and many other things.

For the aviation enthusiasts, there are some interesting original photos of pilots and aircraft operating in the near austro-hungarian airport of Cirè di Pergine, and also an amazing historical document: the flying dress of the great austro-hungarian ace Josef Kiss!
Killed near Belluno in maj 1918, the body of Josef Kiss was buried in Pergine cemetery. His personal effects were taken by a woman who was the josef kiss lover. Wen she died, the fling gear was taken by a collector and after by the museum.

This is the site of the “MUSEO DELLA GRANDE GUERRA”, translate GREAT WAR MUSEUM: www.mostradiborgo.it
