Tip o' the Hat to Mike Taylor!

Mike Taylor, who distributes Misterkit paints in the USA helped me out of a jam, and I just wanted to publicly thank him for having done so.

I was using Misterkit paints on my 1/32 Roden Albatros D.III, but was really struggling with the Albatros Green. I was getting bad orange peel effect, and could not solve it. So, I head off to their US website hoping for tips/anything, but the site was down!

I decided to email Mike directly, explain my problem, and hope for some help. I'm glad I did because, even though the issue, as it turns out, had nothing to do with the paint, Mike patiently worked with me to find a solution.

To make a long story short Mike explained that I was shooting at too high a PSI. I went to Target and found a garage compressor (half off!) with a regulator. I cranked the PSI way down to around 10 and all was well!
