we were talking about that recently, so I want to give you all the proof that
Hermann Goering not officially (of course) intervened in the case of Fritz Beckhardt as prisoner in the Buchenwald concentration camp. This ist what the believable Charlotte Opfermann, daughter of Berthold Guthmann, lawyer of Fritz Beckhardt wrote in 2002:
"(...) My father had been his friend for years, ever since WWI, and was his attorney during the trial. When Beckhardt had served his jail term ... he was sent to Buchenwald. This was the time when Jewish matters were being taken over from the civil courts little by little and handled by the Gestapo. From now on there would be very few trials. During this transition period, the Gestapo would take over released Jewish prisoners who had served their sentence and take them to concentration camps. My father went to Berlin and petitioned Goering ... and Goering agreed to intervene. ... Beckhardt was released from Buchenwald at Goering's request ... and emigrated (...)"
