Nungesser's N17 possible markings?
Hope you can all give me some input on his N17's and my idea for one.
I know he flew quite a few of them, but I saw this photo of what looks like a N17bis? and it looks like it has side stripes, as well as the well know wing top stripes. You can see a blue strip on the port side and the red strip looks like it only goes over the top and down the starboard side, so I came up with the following possible markings. Do any of you have any other historical pic? ...I've found just about everything available on the internet. Thanks, |
