Hi All -
I've been looking at the photos of the models built by members of this forum, and they have inspired me to build the model I have had for ages but never started :blush.
I have a Revell 1/28 scale Fokker DR. I, bought for me as a present ages ago and not started!
What can I do to the kit to make it decent enough to be able to show on this forum? (I said it was a present, so don't tell me to smash it up and get another kit

)
- Where can I get cockpit detailing kits from? The guns, for example, are naff.
- Where can I get resin 1/28 scale figures?
- What types of paints should I be using? I don't have the room for airbrushes, so a paintbrush is all I'll be using.
- How do I make the cables seen on the wings?
- Are the decals supplied with the kit OK, or should I look elsewhere?
I am looking at having this kit as MvR's plane as it was in March 1918. If I make another DR. I then I will look at making the one flown by Paul Bäumer in March 1918.
So, I suppose another question springs to mind....what on Earth do I do about that streaky paint-job?
Many thanks in advance for any help.
