Turner Classic Movies is airing
Hearts of the World early Tuesday morning. It's a long DW Griffith propaganda piece from 1918, beginning with a peaceful French ville full of "homely people" (that's what an original review said!) who are subjected to Prussian Barbarism. Some of the battle scenes were filmed in France.
