A while ago, here and on the WWI Modelers mailing list, some of you were kind enough to air at my request some thoughts on modeling the SPAD XII. It was a most useful discussion and the XII moved a few notches up my to do list as a result. However, severeal times the accuracy of available drawings was called into question.
I have three drawings; the Windsock, the FMP and a contemporary french drawing which, though not much to look at, has the benefit of dimensions. What specifically are the problems with the Windsock and FMP drawings? Is it outline, scale, dimensions or what?
