Hi!
Did it really exist? How many built? Engines, operational use?
I've never heard about them, till yesterday...
Cheers!

Greetings,

Due to insufficient production capacity at Lohner and UFAG, Oeffag received a contract to build 50 of these bombers on May 18, 1918.

The Aircraft designation was to start with 54.01.

The War ended before any aircraft was completed.

Hope this helps you

Did Austrians used them?
Cheers!

Greetings,

I am sorry for the confusion.

Fliegerarsenal wanted Lohner or UFAG to build them, but neither had the production capacity for the amount of bombers needed, so Oeffag was selected.

Oeffag received 2 of the bombers from Daimler to be used as models, but neither saw combat.

also 20 were ordered direct from Daimler, but none of them were delivered by the end of the War.

VBR
