ROLL CALL TO ALL: What persons or squadron?
Hello all,

Hi JC,
My own interest - the nearly 200 aces produced by Canada in WW1 - a nation with a population of about 7 million in 1914.

To all,
This tread may turn out to be a good one.
So in return for info I post by searching through piles of papers "only at The Areodrome" of my findings. People of WW1 through H Weir Cooks notes & stuff. Would you in return take a moment & support our NOT FOR PROFIT group "Weir Cook Project" w/ a letter stating that the Indianapolis,IN. Airport should bring back the Honor of Weir Cook & so on ? A few of you have already joined us. We need your support to do this!
THANKS

Hi JC,
My interest, at least at the present, is on the technical detail of the planes, and especial how the were operated and how they handled. I love reading pilot accounts of their planes and finding out more about how they were constructed.
Regards,

Although I do have my favorite pilots - Jacobs, Tarascon, etc. - when I try to track something down, it's in terms of something "new". For example, the last issue of Avions - #105 - has an excellent article about Escadrille 79, including some photos of their Strutters. Cool!
Personally I'm more interested in things French than any others. Occasionally I do like German/A-H stuff, but overall it's the French aircraft that I find fascinating. In that same vein, I also enjoy the IRAS.

Hello,
Right now I just went through a file of nothing but clippings (year 1930's) about info pertaining to what was going on those days of planes as reported. Need anything in this area 30's? Haven't made my way back to the beginning yet.

Thanks for the offer, JC, but right now my research is just for my own edification. However, if you have any info on Stinson airplanes, that could prove useful for an article I'm working on.
Thanks again,
