Naval Albatros

Hello All,

Currently on ebay at :

Flugzeuge I. Weltkrieg, Doppeldecker, Marine, Luftbildabteilung, Kennung L.F. | eBay

Photos of LF .201 a Albatros C.III and LF .167. Not currently having access to my books (in storage) any information on LF. 167 - an Albatros would be welcome.

Regards,

Clint

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the reply. I agree certainly looks like a Brandenburg tail. Any thoughts on the exact type. Were my books not in storage, probably wouldn't be asking but any further info most welcome.

Regards,

Clint

Clint

This a/c has a very distinctive tailplane but I can't match the type, I tried on Google but none shown had this tailplane

Regards

The identity LF stood for Landflugzeug.

LF 201 was an Albatros C.III

LF 167 was a Brandenburg (Benz Bz.III)

Brandenburg LF.167

[Hello Tork 1945,

Agreed, but presumably there is some naval designation for this machine beyond Brandenburg (Benz Bz.III) or not as the case may be?

Regards,

Clint
