starting to wonder about wnw?

me and another local modeller got together to order a total of 7 wnw kits. the order was placed and paid for via paypal on dec 22. on dec 23 wnw set email confirmation of the order. i know they were on vacation until jan 5th. i also know they usually send email confirmation that the package has been shipped. we have heard nothing, no email saying it has been shipped and no package on the doorstep. it is now the 18th, in four days it will be a month since we ordered. i know they werent working until the 5th but our order was placed before they left so you would think they would have shipped it within a few days of coming back. and in the past it has taken 5 to 7 days from the day i ordered til it showing up. has anyone placed an order around this time? have you recieved a package or confirmation of being shipped. just starting to wonder whats up. i'm sure if the invoice got lost they will make it right.but its hard to be patient seeing all these builds and not having my goodies.

Did you order any HB-W29 or DH-9s?

They did say they would be in short supply and I believe this was posted on their site?

I ordered and paid for the RE.8 and the HS - W.29 on the 17th Dec, I then ordered and paid for the Ninak on the 29 Dec, I received order confirmation but am still waiting for shipping news.

I am not at all concerned about this, I realise that Wingnuts are probably inundated with orders, plus thay had a bit of time off over Christmas, and their own new stocks have probably not arrived yet, so my kits will eventually turn up.

Boy, this is nothing compared to times I have had to wait for other orders to turn up from different companies, I'm still waiting for an order I placed and paid for over 12 months ago, guess I can kiss that money goodbye.

Hang in there guys, it will all be good, just give it more time.

Don't worry!

I had a problem with one of my orders ...... a missing Pfalz in a shipment that arrived before Christmas .... they shipped it with my Gotha kit and Decals after January 5th.

Oh and by the way just because you did not get a shipping confirmation e-mail does not mean the kits have not already shipped! The only one I received before Christmas was the one which had a missing Pfalz in it! LOL And I had three separate orders arrive before Christmas....You did receive an order confirmation???? You should always get one of these though?????

Have you e-mailed WNW? They will respond......

I am sure they are a bit swamped now...... but getting all their ducks in a row rather quickly!

There's a magic word about it:

PATIENCE

It will be worth it.
Just keep in mind they deliver worldwide and a huge amount of orders should have come in since the W29 and the NINAK came out.
Christmas certainly did not help to discrease the number of orders so one must be the first who get his order delivered and one must be the last who receives it and all the others should be somewhere in the middle.

I myself was very pleased that I could easily change my order of W29 and NINAK to W29 and Gotha when the Gotha came out so I will be exited when both arrive but don't see any sense in being supernervous - maybe I am the last who receives his order so what?

I'm sure anyway most of you guys have something else to build in the meantime.

i do have plenty to build and i'm not worried as i said before. i was more curious because it been almost a month, one time it got to me in 5 days. but that wasnt christmas nor was it right after 6 new releases. i came here to ask because i dont want to bother those guys with another stupid email asking where are my airplanes. to answer one above question ,yes there was 1 dh-9 in the order so maybe that is the holdup. i guess i am just eager to fondle my new plastic. so i thought i would ask my friends here to see if others were still waiting that ordered at the same time. i know that one day i will be surprised and happy that they have arrived.

I ordered my RE-8 on Dec. 30 and it arrived on Jan. 14. Remember that good things are worth waiting for.
