Previous Breguet's Crash Files

THE RULES
1. All aircraft are of the 14-18 period (Must have left the ground during this period).
2. All "ACES" with a score of 5.0 or higher must obey the 3.0 hour handicap. All others with a score of ZERO to 4.99 may start immediately, if not sooner!
Offenders will be dealt with severely!
3. To be eligible for correct ID an answer must include at least one characteristic of the aircraft that helped in its identification.
4. And whom ever wins this challenge will have to provide a new one! If this can not be done for any reason, please PM Breguet and he will take over as host!
5. If an ace gives the correct answer too early, the challenge is over, he gets no point but has to post the next challenge. In lieu of the fact that the "novices" have in effect been "cheated" of their "exclusive" time that next post should be a relatively easy one. Anyone repeating the correct answer at the right time gets neither a point nor the right to post the next challenge.
6. The final arbitrator of all things to do with the "rules" is Breguet

Bonjour à tous

Flat side fuselage ,fin ,rectangular tailplane :it could be a Sopwith Pup .

Fin is for sure sopwith shape. Main planes also have destinctive Sopwith shape. Looks like a Pup but the cabane struts do not appear to be sloping out at top. I'd say a Naval (judging by uniforms) Sopwith Pup.

Since Pup is already covered - and the struts do not look Pup-ish to me.... I'll say Tabloid.

I was thinking Tabloid too, but the Tab is a wing warper and has a round leading edge on the tailplane... Same reason I did not go with a Baby with wheels, the tailplane does not fit. The wing tips also have the taper of the Pup. I want to check referances at home but alas I am at work. I am also thinking it may be a Grahame-White or such as some of those experimentals had Sopith features.

Also I am curious about the dark line on lower wing just aft of the leading edge. It appears to far forward to be the spar breaking through fabric?

This plane cannot be a PuP because cabane strut dont fit
It cannot be a tabloid because the fin dont fit
I think that fuse and fin shape,perpandicular struts, could fit with
a beardmore W.B.III later production (rod operated ailerons were replaced by cables)-These beardmore were used in Navy and was in fact converted Pup
