Lt. William Edwin Sandys KIA 32 Sqdn
Hello
The above man joined The Lord Srathcona's Horse in 1914 as a Pte, #2708 Commissioned General List and then joined the RFC.
He was KIA or died Sept 5, 1917 and is buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery.

Son of Francis Edwin and Mary Llewellyn Sandys; husband of C.V Sandys, of 58, Anson Rd.,Tufnell Park, London.
Lieut. Sandys was one of many British "gentlemen" who settled in prewar Canada and then rushed to join up in 1914. He served in a militia cavalry regiment, the 31st British Columbia Horse, C Squadron and from there joined the LSH in Sept., 1914.
I would be very grateful to know the circumstances of his death.
