I ran across this interesting modler and his build on the WWI modelers web page. I would like to know more about his software and the process. I like the see through effect on the wings and fuselage.

I would say he is using maybe Photoshop or PaintShop Pro.

I use cardboard myself. Am working on a WWII Aussie Stuart tank. Using cardbaord to make the turret ring that the Aussies added. The cardboad is glued with CA. Then coated with Future to allow painting. The Future stops the paint from soaking into the cardboard.

Don't be afraid to use materials other than plastic. Von-Humbrol would have approved. :P
