Outstanding Stephen.

I find the Sopwith stable of fine fighters most appealing .

If I may ask, what are you using for a camera ?

Very nice Stephen,

according to Collishaw's own testimony, there was no "C" on the side, the upper wing cockades were considerably toned down, and the underwing colour was blue - a statement that clearly was wrong! I would say you've captured the look from the photograph perfectly.

How have you depicted the serial number? There is another photograph of this machine at Chingford (pre Naval 10) and the black serial can be seen in a white "box" - most profiles seem to show a white serial painted straight on the fuselage.

Collishaw is reputed to have had "doubled up" drag wires fited to all his triplanes for extra strength. He only used French built Clergets as well, though I don't suppose there was any visible way of telling a French from an English Clerget.
