Which jasta(s) got the 10 Pfalz Dr. I's and it's combat success/failure. ie kills and type vs lost in action or accident.

this won't be much help, but it will be a start. in the squadron/signal publication #88 on the fokker dr1, there is a section in the back on fokker competitors. listed is the pfalz dr.1. although no records exist that give exact production numbers, ten were sent to bavarian units. it does not say which units, but this could be a place to start looking.

A short article in Over the Front vol.9 # 3 mentions that some of the 9 Pfalz Dr. Is were with Jasta 73 in April 1918. Aircraft 221/17 and 222/17 are pictured, both in overall aluminum finish.

MvR visited the Pfalz works in January 1918 with high hopes for the Dr1. He spent some time there flying the bird and came away totally unimpressed. As I recall, the biggest problem was with the engine, and this was supposed to be the one item greatly improved over the Fokker.
