From WINDSOCK DATAFILE No. 40, authored by Gregory Alegi, the climb figures given for a
pre-production series SVA, S/N 6758, using an SPA 6 inline six-cylinder of 234 hp and a French Ratier propeller of 8'4" (2.55m) diameter and 7'4" (2.25m) pitch, climb figures of 5:15 to 2500m (8,200 ft.) and 18:30 to 5500m (18,040 ft.) were measured. The figures are
on pg. 36 of the Datafile, published by Albatros Publications in the UK.

Yours sincerely,

"Jane's Fighting Aircraft of WWI" (manufacturer's data mostly) has 30 mins to 20,000 ft. for the SVA 4 fitted with 220hp SPA 6A engine. The SVA 5 has 28 mins to the same with same engine.
