Hi,

I think that is it. I have at least one photo of Immelmann's Fokker Eindecker wreckage, but it would take me some time to find it. The better known photo is of the wreckage once it was collected from the crash site and re - assembled.

Regards,

David.

That's the only picture I've ever seen to be claimed as Immelmann's crash picture...

Hi,

I'm going from memory, but there are at least two more of the wreckage re - assembled on a timber floor. I'm not sure where I've seen them but one of them in particular is well known.

Hi,

Yes, it is indeed Immelmann's crash site. There were literally dozens of photos taken from all angles of this incident, and many more taken once the wreckage had been transported to a hangar at Douai.

Thanks for that PFFF. Here are the two photos of the crashed Eindecker, taken after it was re - assembled in the hanger. They are from the last link provided in the previous post - Immelmann, Max :: I :: Germany (DEU)

I'm quite sure I've got at least two or three more views of the crash site somewhere.

Regards,

David.
