Peter,

Wasnt there a thread in this forum on Roden putting it on it's to-do list? IIRC there was also doubt about it too. I am with Ginger, I hope someone does a modern rendition of a 1:72 SE5a soon. My collection has no SE5a in it, and the Esci Camel got put in the spare parts box when I lost patience with it.

Go Roden I say.

The only one I've seen recently was a Roseplane resin fuselage and detail set for the Revell kit. So sweet I almost deserted the manly scale. Common sense prevailed however, prompted by the knowledge that I have difficulty seeing anything smaller than a Volkswagen unaided.

As far as I know, the only option is the Roseplane set, but even with that you need a Revell kit to provide for wings, tail and such
I guess that Roden is too much focused on German stuff but I sure do hope that they will change their view.

Welcome Diego, I was wondering when you'd show up. We,ve been in need of a little class for a while now. Well...since Ginger turned up really.

Confidential sources told me that RODEN [glow=red,2,300]WILL[/glow] produce a S.E.5a approximately in autumn this year. After a long time of producing mainly German aircraft they will make more allied plastic kits in future.

RODEN has a website and if you write down your personal preferences it will be a valuable hint for them what the market is looking for (just imagine 100 or more persons asking for a Sopwith Triplane or a Breguet 17).
