LVG C.V. fuselage art

Hello again!

I've reposted the photos I had on the EKU photo database at Flickr.

Hopefully, they will be better for ID purposes now.

try: EKU Archives' slideshow on Flickr

EKU Archives' slideshow on Flickr

this link should take you directly to a slide show and if you click on the image it will give you a caption. You cannot post comments to this slide show but if you become a member of Flickr, you can post comments to us, or you can write to the forum, or to me directly at chuck.hill@eku.edu - also, if the link does not work, try Flickr.com and search for "walter J. Binder" in quotes and then view as a slide show.

Your previous information was fantastic, and I'm hoping that these larger images will be even more useful. Unfortunately, some detail is still not quite visible. For instance, the photo you IDed as a captured German observation aircraft LVG C.V. has a crescent moon with an eye and a nose painted on the side that still is not clearly visible on-line but I can see under a magnifying glass.

I was curious if anyone could ID the unit it served with?

thanks, again,
