I assume it is LZ43 (L12) after an attack damaged going down down in the sea but dragged to Ostende (10. August 1915) and burned there during the recovery works. Different sources give different reasons for the final destruction.
I guess I have to look for the details in some of my sources but that needs too many time.

I fully concur with rammjaeger. The L 12 at Ostend after recovery. I had the understanding the fire was caused through carelessness during the dismantling--but I will check on this thought to verify that.

Hello,

I lost my Internet access (I am just writing from my brother-in-laws PC) because of a technical failure and the providers bad service. Therefore I can not post anything in the next days.

Either you wait until I come back or anybody joins in with another crash picture meanwhile.

VBR
