I have a side view of a Fokker DR1 of Jasta 2. The aircraft has black and white stripes down the side of the fuselage with a small description stating that the aircraft was black and white stripes all over, no pilot identified. I am looking for more information on this aircraft, in particular a 3 view showing the full camoflage. Can any one help me with my search?

No one seems to know what your talking about. Can you:
Post a picture image? Say where it came from? Describe the type of Crosses on the aircraft? Scan a picture and send it e-mail. Are the bands around the fuselage angled or vertical? The Dr.I that comes to mind was in Jasta 4 and 6 but not in Jasta 2 (Jasta B.) Jasta 2 - Dr.I types had the tail units halved chordwise in black and white. |
