SSW D1 fuselage?

Dan San and Greg Van,

I would appreciate your expertise in regard to how the fuselage was covered. More specifically, the top between the cockpit and tail. Was it exactly like (all fabric covered) a Neiuport 17? Hope both of you are well.

P.S. John: I am trying to find a photograph taken in the Seimens Factory that show the covered fuselage. I'll get back to as soon as possible.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to me. I know the SSW D1 isn't a favorite subject but I'm trying to build as accurate a model as possible and your efforts are very appreciated. Looking forward to that picture and hope you can dig it up. Thanks again for your kindness.
