Greetings all; Since we have all danced around this issue as something we would like to see, I would like to propose an invitation. I don't have much in the area of WWI 1/72 kits but I have a couple of parts boxes with drawers that have a large amount of 1/48 spare parts. These are parts from kits and aftemarket items. NOT whole kits. This does include some decal sheets. Now since I'm not asking for money for purchase you may ask what does he want? Parts and pieces folks. If I can help you maybe you can help me. You pay postage both ways and send me clean or useable kit part(s) and I'll see if I can help you. In some cases I can help in some cases I won't be able to. So, contact me first and let me know what you need and what you have to swap. If some of you have parts you won't use any more let me encourage you to send them to me and I'll try to see that they get used by a modeler who's looking for parts. Or say you have a smasked or broken kit save the useable parts and offer it here to a fellow modeler. You don't have to deal with me if you don't want to. If you have pissed me off in the past I'll probably ignore you anyway. Fortunately thats very few people.
My offer is for 1/48 WWI Aviation subjects. Anyone willing to can deal with 1/72, 1/27 and ETC. In my case this means kits primarily from Eduard, DML/Dragon and Roden. This thread is not for profit or business. This is modelers helping modelers. Also this is meant to be an offer that keeps everybody on the good foot. So keep your complaints (if any) confined to contact off site with the fellow you swap with.
As always this thread's activities are subject to review, acceptance or rejection by our glorious, lord high imperial poohbah and Webmaster extrodinaire. If he put the Kibausch on its activities its over. Period. As always lets please continue to extend the usual courtesies to one another.

Hear, Hear!
The Right Honorable Gentleman from Colorado: Ur timin' is bleedin' impeccable, as always, Guv'nor!
I have recently found "treasures" That I wish could be traded to forumites who might want/need them, in exchange for something valuable to me (read: I can't even SEE 1/72 anymore, wanna trade for something I can handle without threatening my remaining digits).
However, the best news I have is for posessors of the Roden Nie.28: a PE set that existed prior to the release of the kit! It seems that Lone Star Models planned to do a 1/48 28, but only got as far as the PE. It cost me $10.00, and is so old that it's done on black vinyl backing (soak in acetone or lacquer thinner to release the parts). Amongst the "goodies" it has high- and low-backed "peach basket" seats! I shall scan the "destructions" for the perusal of Sir Stephen, and invite him to make comments. He (Mr. Lone Star Hisself) had a second set for sale, but I had "shot my vendors's wad" at that point. We contact Lone Star, and let him know he needs to fire up the production line before someone else does.

We need it. I have started on my Rodent 28 and would love to replace the seat. This set would make it so much easier.

" [b]You pay postage both ways"
Stephen,
If you and I each has a part the other has a need for, why should I have to pay postage both ways? When I have worked out trades with other modelers it has always seemed fair that each pays their own postage.
Warren

If someone comes looking for a part, their asking me to go to the post office to mail it. In most cases its negligable but why should something cost me postage if your asking me to do you a favor? The trade just keeps me from losing something. Paying postage also tells me that your serious. If the part you send me is less than what was described I'm still not losing anything. As a provider I'm not seeking anything but the seeker is looking for part(s). Postage both ways is like sending a SASE it makes it easier on the provider.

Hello Stephen!
Good idea - I'm also have no less than five big boxes (30x40x10 cm) which fully filled with mainly 1/72 parts from various subjects and some 1/48 - of course, mainly TOKO and RODEN kits. I'm absolutely sure that ALL this parts never will be used - only some of them. In same time, I'm need some products like decals or PE which can't be find in my country. let me now about spare parts which You need - probably I'm could help, who knows...
By the way - I"m have old Flashback SSW D.III which came to me occasionaly and if somebody still looking this kit, I'm could exchange it.
