Hello ...This is a Royal Aircraft Factory FE2d with Trafford Jones Landing gear modifications to the Oleo gear assy. .
What you see in the photo is the Underside of the RH lower wing with the RH lower centre section still attached ,...the whole assembly having become detached from the Nacelle .
This looks like one of the later manufactured machines with the RAF 14 wing section .

A 6385 of 2nd Lt A R Johnston & Lt. H R Nicholson , from no 20 Sqdn.
It collided mid air with Naval pilot ,Vzflgmstr. Josef Wirth's Alb DIII , 2281/16 of MFJ I on 24 April 1917 over Becelaere ..
All 3 aircrew were killed .
