More Great 1/72 scale news! Great subject - I had all but given up hope for an injection molded Hanriot after Eduard shelved their project, so many years ago now... It is interesting that HR Models is delving into injection molding. I have two of their resin kits. I will certainly get an Hanriot when they are released.

Paddy...I wonder if thats the old Pegasus kit. I have/had one of them laying around I was going to make into a float plane version. Even have a custom made set of floats.

I spoke with Mr. Hora (the man behind HR Model) two months ago. Both HD.1 and HD.2 will be available in at least four boxing (Belgian, Italian, French and US). The first version should be available very soon and it is completely new moulding. In fact it will be the second plastic kit from HR Model. The first one was Avia B-534 (Czech interwar biplane fighter) released last year in several versions. This is very nice kit and the Hanriot should be even beter.
Moreover another czech company Fly prepares injection moulded Ansaldo SVA.5 in 1/72. This kit should be available in the first half of this year.

Why don't you make resin copies for the rest of us you stingy old coot? Strangely, that was the one Pegasus kits I never bought. I'm not sure why as it's one of my favorite A/C.

You can view plastic, decals and instructions here:

Hi:
Not the pegasus kit reboxed. It appears all versions contain the same plastic, including floats, with different decals. The Italian Decals look great! I'm getting one . . .

Hello all,

I have two of the HR Italian Hanriots. Nice kit, some struts a little thick and no interior sidewall detail but it's nice to have this kit released. Noticed that Modelimex has the Belgian version also available.

Also have received the Roden Nieuport 24bis and the Nieuport 24. Very nice kits as well!!

I'm sure some of the folks on the Drome will work their magic on these!!
