Black Hawk Models CL Biplanes
One of the stalwarts of Scientific Models' old control line was Walter Musciano's Lil' Bipe, a generic free lance design that could be modified to passibly replicate a number of specific designs.

I can honestly say I haven't thought about ½A control line flying for over half a century, even though that's what my first flying model was. (A Jim Walker Firebaby, powered by a Wasp .049!)
Now it occurs to me that I have a grandson about the same age that I was when my Firebaby first took to the air. It may be time to become an instructor pilot. Thanks for the post and the memories!

Glad you enjoyed it. I hope to build some of Black Hawk's models this year. Someday, I'll build their Fokker Dr.I. I haven't decided on a paint scheme yet, but it won't be streaky --- and not red!
