Perhaps most unique is the example of Eugene Coler of 11 Sqn. He scored his first three victories on 9 May 1918, never claimed fewer than two victories in any combat and claimed five on 13 August 1918.
John Trollope is usually quoted as being the first pilot to achieve six victories in a day (24 March 1918) with Henry Woollett following on 12 April, but to make Collishaw's total add up it is necessary to allow all six claimed on 6 June 1917.
René Fonck is recorded as being the only pilot to twice shoot down six aircraft in one day - 9 May and 26 September 1918.
