Russ will certainly be missed. Mountains of one-of-a-kind research. I hope his material somehow gets passed on to archives in Australia or elsewhere. He was always kind to me when I requested material on British squadrons--as recently as a few months ago when he sent me his unpublished (or little published) history of No. 1 Squadron, which is fantastic.

Blue Skies Russ, and a salute from one old warrior to another. You will be missed on many levels for your humor, your ample provocations and your impeccable historical knowledge.
