Bill, the wearing of two EK ribbons at the same time is often seen, as for instance my uncle wore the ribbon on his Feldschnalle and in the button hole as a means of displaying the repeat clasp for the EK2. I don't believe this was a contravention of the rules for wearing order ribbons.
