Mueller's biography in the "aces" section on the Aerodrome site states
the same scenario Russ described--that Mueller was attacked from behind
by Soden and Chidlaw-Roberts whilst attacking the RE8. The RE8 crew
was George Zimmer and Henry Arthur Somerville. Somerville was KIA
28 March 1918, at the age of 22; he served with the Royal Sussex
Regiment (as Lt.) and the RFC; he was awarded the M.C. Zimmer
survived the war and died in 1971, in Yorkshire; he was born in 1889,
at Croydon, Surrey. Somerville was born at Eastbourne, Sussex, in 1895,
near the end of the year.
