I wont be getting the M85 jacket until around Christmas so in the meantime lets examine Fabian's jack.

The jacket is a light shade of green while the M85 is olive (which wont be too much of an issue).There are a series of leather straps near the waist sides.The jacket has a large colar which seems to be made of a smooth cloth material (white fleece?).Unlike the M85,Fabian's jacket encloses on the right while the M85 closes to the middle.The M85 has two breast pockets which can be easily tailored off.

Here is a close-up of the straps on his coat.Im trying to figure out what the purpose of these are and how its used.My best guess is that they are to tighten the jacket from the cold.There is also two straps hanging down from the breasts.They appear to be from within the jacket.

Here is a full view of the jacket.The jacket seems to go down to mid-thigh length.From the looks of the M85 it goes down to about that legnth.The colar appears to be about two feet from one end to the other and when flipped up it goes about up above the head.

When I get the jacket I will do my best to make it look like Fabian's.Any suggestions and tips would be great!
