Yes i have read it. To be honest it doesn't have much on his career in 1915 - only a measly five pages. But it does mention a combat on 02nd May.
Is this the encounter that you mention?

There are many references to Marix in 'Fights & Flights' by C.R. Samson, and the engagement of 02nd May (in 'Reggie' by John Lea) is taken directly from this source. But it doesn't really go into specifics.
