Siemens-Schuckert DD 5. 100 hp Siemens-Halske Sh I engine. Test-flown in August, 1916. One prototype was built, which was abandoned in favor of the the Siemens-Schuckert D I, a close copy of the Nieuport 11.
The wings, N-shaped cabane struts, and solitary wing struts are all distinctive, but it was the cowling that helped the most, as it looks just like the cowling on the Siemens-Schuckert D I.
