[David Hopcroft]

Please be advised that Grp.Capt. Leacroft is the Father of my Aunt Diana who is still alive & lives in Somerset England . Speaking to my Aunt recently she advises that her Father was the one who coined the phrase " Dogfight". He came back after a flight where he encountered enemy warplanes & wrote supposedly in his log where he described the ensuing battle as a "Dogfight" .
I do not know if there is anyway to locate the logs .
I recently gave my Aunt all the information on her father from the internet & she is over the moon .
