von Linsingen

Hello Igor,
In the book The Jasta Pilots by Franks, Bailey, and Duiven von Linsingen is listed as born July 16, 1896 and died March 13, 1968. In The Red Baron Combat Wing by Kilduff, von Linsingen was commissioned into the Kurassier-Regiment Konigin (Pommersches) Nr. 2. Hans Karl von Linsingen was a son of ColonelGeneral Alexander von Linsingen and had served with Manfred von Richthofen in Kampfgeschwader 2 prior to joining Jasta 11 on November 27, 1917. After spending 9 months in a hospital recuperating from injuries he suffered in a crash due to bad weather on January 24, 1918, von Linsingen was posted to Jasta 59. Best regards, Dave.

They have waited for us, my friend, they have waited for the coming

They wait to hear our words and laughter, to see our tears, and

to be remembered.
