I have the Fokker Fok.E.V three view drawings and the larger curve is tangent to the leading edge of the stablizer at the elevator balance leading edge tip. From the elevator main tube center-line to leading edge of the elevator balance tip is, 735mm. The width of the balance is, 340mm, the radius of the small curve is 200mm from the trailing edge to the span tip, and the radius of the larger curve is 500mm from the span tip to the balance tip. Almost every drawing I have seen, including my original drawing of the elevator of the Fok. F.I, DR.I and E.V, elevator tip have a single radius, which is incorrect. There are two radii, which are more pleasing to the eye.

Hi Dan-San,

Yes, I too have the Fokker factory E.V three-view drawings.

Concerning the Dr.I elevator dimensions, fortunately we both agree EXACTLY on width of the elevator balance of 340mm, and the elevator cord with forward balance of 735mm. However, have you redrawn your outer elevator curves yet with your "500mm" and "200mm" radius dimensions? If so, I would really appreciate seeing how well your updated drawing worked out.

Thanks, Gary Sewall
