My thanks Kilian, unfortunately it doesn't show what I'm after, although it is interesting. I have, however, noticed another clue which might help. There is a small hill visible in my photo, and looking at the maps of the area I get the impression the area surrounding the airfield is flat, except for a hill to the north, Parc de Bagatelle. If anyone knows the area could they confirm this is the only 'high' ground near the airfield.
