[FOKKERJ]

Thanks Koloman Mayrhofer, I used to make Mountain Man and Indian artifakes/ replicas. On my knife handles, I heated Linseed Oil and soaked, rubbed, and repeated as neccessary as taught to me by my Grandparents. My point is that people have been using Linseed oil for a long time, They would have used it with or without other adjuncts depending on availibility and desire.
