Gentleman,
I have dealt with this firm only once but came away with a high regard for the shop and Lubos Vinar. He is indeed a fine lad who takes his customers seriously. From this quarter he is highly reccomended.
That aside, the 1/144 WW I models are beauties ( I bought a small bunch ) and it is possible to make the struts from Evergreen if you choose not to use the included wire. The result is gorgeous, in a very tiny sort of way.
My method was to copy the 1/72 Roden parts on my scanner and reduce them by 50%. I then taped a piece of glass over the print and built them directly onto the surface of glass, being carful not to glue them to the glass. The result was well beyond my expectations.
Best regards to all,
Terry Crisp
