On the French IGN map "2303 E" (Wormhout - Cassel), as in WWW.ign.fr (1:25000), Sainte-Marie-Cappel is in the bottom right corner of the map at lat 50.45.36 N, long 2.30.59 E. As far as I can tell the aerodrome was sited immediately to the southeast of the village in the fields marked "Hofland Dreve". See jpg attached.

If anyone knows otherwise I would be grateful for more accurate information as my grandfather, george Tester, flew from there with 20 squadron RFC in 1917, before being KIA 28.09.17.
