Sorry Rick, there are some mistakes in your informations.
After Infanterie (last II. Ers. Batl. IR 161), he joined the Fliegertruppe
on 19.2.1917 (zur Fea 6 kommandiert und versetzt).
Between 31.5.1917 and 24.9.1917 he served in FAA 202 and FA 13,
then back to Fea 2 and Fea 14 till the end.
He got his rank Oblt. d.R. on 7.2.1922 not in 1935!
Joined the NSDAP on 1.1.1930 not 1929 (No. 200885).
1.4.1933 - 31.3.1935 DLV-Landesgruppenführer Ostpreußen
1.4.1937 - 05.1945 NSFK-Gruppenführer Ostpreußen
15.12.1941 - 1945 UK-Stellung als Generalkommissar für Reichsminister Ost
(Gauleiter Koch).
06.1945 POW CIC 1 Neumünster (Westdeutschland!)
Died 1965 in Cologne Area ...
Over 15 years close friendship with Koch, a man who died in polish prison,
because he´s the one who knows where the Bernsteinzimmer has gone ...
