Five unrelated questions
And I might as well ask the obsessive-compulsive modelleering group, right?
* The green color of Jasta 5 tailplanes -- how bright was it? I've seen renditions of it in rather dark shades, and I'd think that defeats the purpose of squadron identifocation. Eduard depicts it rather bright. Opinions?
* The seats of Fokker and Albatros aeroplanes look to me like a thin aluminum form, padded with a few layers of cloth or horsehair, and then covered with a dark-colored leatherette sheath, rather like a cheap barstool. Is this right? What color would this be?
* Eduard's otherwise nice Camel kit instructions depict a stout pipe in front of and at the bottom edge of the instrument panel plugging into the "atomizer" air intakes. This seems wrong. But also brings up -- what is this pipe? Not all Camel cockpit photos show it -- BUT SOME DO.
* The clear triangular access panels on Camel (and other) wings -- what do you see through them? What does it actually look like?
* And what is that vertical bracing wire on Sopwith landing gear for?
