Jasta 2 at that time was called
Jasta Boelcke, this officially at the beginning of December 1916. By August 1918 the Fokker D.VIIs of the unit wore, for the most part, the unit marking of the tail unit half black/half white. This included the rear portion of the fuselage also. The radiator shells, in many instances, were also painted white. The rest of the aircraft were either in printed lozenge fabric w/ a variety of personal marking on the fuselage sides or painted as stripes or bands around the portion of the fuselage immediately behind the cockpit. There is, as always, a great variety on the personal marking side.
