As far as F102/17 is concerned all the pictures I've seen of it leds me to believe that it was painted the factory paint scheme. A. G. Lee in his book, "No Parachute" states that the airplane was totally red!
The Jasta 11 triplanes had the red markings you mentioned, plus some personal markings.
