I think perhaps "Nourrice" is a reference to a gravity feed fuel tank. I think the term is Italian in origin, and translates roughly to "mammary". I don't speak Italian, but I'd speculate the word has the same root as the word nourish.

I think I first saw the term used in the Windsock Datafile on the Ansaldo SVA in reference to a tank mounted in the top wing. Perhaps it was a term used generically.

My interpretation would be that in the absence of fuel fed from the gravity tank, the pilot was having difficulty getting enough fuel to the carb.

Was this pilot flying an airplane with a gravity-feed tank? And did he for example train in Italy, or see service on the Italian front?
