One of my pet pilots is Joe Francis, student of the 1st course at Richmond, NSW. He flew 25 different types of plane, passed out second in the stunting course at Gosport school for instructors; had 2+3/4 years with RFC/RAF.
I find reference to him in connection with aero clubs, airlines, civil flying etc in Australia to 1939, and think he died prior to 1960.
I find no refs to his full name, date of birth, home town or anything.
